Inhalt

The Steering Committee Chair and the Conveners of the working groups “Development”, “Tools – Validation – Content” and “Standards” present the developments of iiRDS in 2022. In July, two new projects started: the development of an iiRDS Validation Tool and the improvement of terminology e.g. by harmonizing definitions of classes, instances, and properties of the iiRDS Schema. The Working Group Conveners are reporting on the status and results of these projects.

Mark Schubert is a technical consultant at parson and supports clients regarding authoring tools and publishing solutions. DITA, DocBook, and other document type definitions are part of his daily routine. As a former technical writer, he knows XML-based authoring firsthand. Mark has been an acting member of iiRDS working groups Development and Tools from the start. As an iiRDS Ambassador he is participating in working groups of the Industrial Ontologies Foundry IOF.

Michael Fritz ist promovierter Medienwissenschaftler und Betriebswirt mit Schwerpunkt Marketing. Er arbeitete für verschiedene Verbände, z.B. als Leiter eines Instituts für lebenslanges Lernen. Seit 1996 ist er CEO des tekom Deutschland e.V. und seit 2013 auch CEO der tekom Europe. Er ist auch Geschäftsführer der tcworld GmbH.

Biografie

Anne Kuhsen studierte Technische Redaktion an der Hochschule Karlsruhe und ist seit 2008 bei SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co. KG beschäftigt. Sie ist dort verantwortlich für die digitale Transformation der Technischen Kommunikation und seit 2020 Mitglied des Steering Committee im iiRDS-Konsortium. Zusätzlich hat sie seit Anfang 2023 die Aufgabe des Steering Committee Chair von Ulrike Parson übernommen.

Anne Kuhsen studied Technical Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe and has been working for SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co. KG since 2008. She is responsible for the digital transformation of technical communications and has been a member of the Steering Committee of the iiRDS consortium since 2020. In addition, she has taken over the role of the Steering Committee Chair from Ulrike Parson since the beginning of 2023.

Ulrike Parson is the founder and CEO of parson AG, a service provider for technical communication headquartered in Hamburg with over 25 years experience in technical communication. She works primarily as a consultant in her specialist areas of intelligent information, content strategy and the digitalization of content processes. Ulrike is a member of the iiRDS Steering Committee.
