Inhalt

Technical communication is undergoing major change. For once, due to digitalization, accompanied by new types of media, formats, and usability requirements. On the other hand, not least through EU regulations, due to requirements in the fields of data protection, IT and OT security. Not to forget sustainability as a cross-cutting topic touching all areas. The new edition (Ed. 3) of IEC/IEEE 82079-1 will account for these and some further aspects.

Das lernen Sie

IEC/TC 3 / ISO/TC 10/SC 1 JWG 16, Maintenance of IEC 82079 series, started revising IEC/IEEE 82079-1 in informal subgroups. The current work status and first interim results will be presented.

Biografie

Sabine Mahr studierte Übersetzungswesen mit der Fachrichtung Technik, absolvierte das berufsbegleitende Kontaktstudium Technische Dokumentation der FH Karlsruhe und ist seit 1998 als Technische Redakteurin in der Telekommunikationsbranche tätig. Seit 2003 arbeitet sie freiberuflich, insbesondere für Netzbetreiber. In der Normung der Technischen Kommunikation ist sie u.a. aktiv als Convenerin der IEC/TC 3/JWG 16, Maintenance of IEC 82079 series, sowie als Obfrau des DIN NA 105-00-07, Technische Kommunikation, innerhalb des Normenausschusses Terminologie.
