You never know, what you will get. Wait, this cannot be the right approach! In this workshop, we discover why defining quality criteria for post-editing is crucial for maximizing your ROI of MT. Light and full post-editing are merely extremes on the scale of quality levels. We will collaborate to create a spectrum of quality levels, each with their own quality criteria. Bring in your expertise to create a set of quality criteria for your industry
Das lernen Sie
Assign quality criteria to different quality levels for post-editing. Identify the criteria that are most important for your translation process and content type.
Vorkenntnisse
Participants are aware of the difference in MT engines, trained and generic. They have a good understanding of post-editing and how it is different from human translation. They can relate to different quality aspects of translation. If the attendee works in a regulated industry, knowledge about legal requirements would be especially beneficial.
