Mercedes-Benz delivers vehicle’s owner’s manuals of approximately 40 carlines to over 80 markets in 36 languages through four delivery channels. It’s not a surprise that the processes related to creating and delivering the customer-facing content are very complex. They involve multiple teams, tools, and processes.

But how to make sure that all these pieces work together towards the common goals? How to verify that each team uses the right tools and processes to efficiently contribute their share into creating technical documentation? This requires building bridges between the teams and technologies across the entire organization.

Alex Masycheff ist seit 30 Jahren in der Content-Branche tätig. Er leitete die Implementierung von Content-Management- und Wissensmanagement-Lösungen in zahlreichen Unternehmen, darunter Kodak, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Siemens, Netgear und EMC. 

Alex ist überzeugt, dass der Schlüssel zur optimalen Nutzung von Produktinhalten in der Kombination aus semantisch reichhaltigen, strukturierten Inhalten, Automatisierung und künstlicher Intelligenz liegt.

Alex Masycheff has been in the content industry for 28+ years. He lead implementation of content management and knowledge management solutions in many companies, including Kodak, Siemens, Netgear, Toyota, Mercedes, and EMC.

Alex believes that the key to leveraging the value of the product content is in combination of semantically rich structured content, automation, and artificial intelligence.

Christoph Weiß ist seit 2015 bei Mercedes-Benz und begann als Prozessdesigner für Übersetzungsprozesse in den Bereichen Telematik, Betriebsanleitungen und verschiedenen anderen Bereichen. Seine innovativen Lösungen optimierten Arbeitsabläufe und verbesserten die Genauigkeit. Als Digitalexperte trieb Christoph die digitale Produktentwicklung voran und wandelte insbesondere traditionelle Handbücher in interaktive digitale Formate um. Als Product Owner für digitale Betriebsanleitungen im Web und als App für alle Mercedes-Benz-Fahrzeuge verantwortet er Strategie, Entwicklung und kontinuierliche Verbesserung und sorgt für ein intuitives und informatives Nutzererlebnis.

Christoph Weiß has been with Mercedes-Benz since 2015, starting as a process designer for translation processes in telematics, Owner's Manuals, and various other fields. His innovative solutions streamlined workflows and enhanced accuracy. Transitioning to a Digital expert, Christoph drove digital product development, notably transforming traditional manuals into interactive digital formats. Currently, as Product Owner for digital Owner's Manuals in Web and App for all Mercedes-Benz vehicles, he oversees strategy, development, and continuous improvement, ensuring intuitive and informative user experiences.
