From DITA via iiRDS to GenAI - establishing a complete information chain

Inhalt

We present a complete information chain starting at authoring and ending in intelligent information delivery and AI bots. Starting with using DITA to structure content and metadata markup, we will demonstrate the usage of the DITA-OT plugin to generate iiRDS content to preserve the structure and all the metadata of the content.

After importing the iiRDS content into a Content Delivery System, we will explain the necessary tasks and preparations to use the content as a source of information for a GenAI-based chatbot application to unlock dynamic and personalized interactions based on your own data.

We will include the the new iiRDS Request API in our presentation and explain its role in the tool chain.

All parts of the tutorial will be presented live with various systems and applications.

Biografie

Dr. Martin Kreutzer beschäftigt sich seit über 25 Jahren bei der Empolis Information Management GmbH mit der Konzeption von XML-basierten CMS-Anwendungen, Content Delivery Portalen und dem Austausch intelligenter Informationen. Standards wie XML, DITA, RDF und iiRDS liegen ihm am Herzen.

In seiner Rolle als Principal Solution Engineer begleitet er Kunden bei der Einführung von iiRDS in der Schnittstelle zwischen Content Management und Service Portalen. Seit einigen Jahren unterstützt er Unternehmen bei der Einführung KI-basierter Methoden im Service.

Biografie

Anne Kuhsen studierte Technische Redaktion an der Hochschule Karlsruhe und ist seit 15 Jahren bei SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co. KG beschäftigt. Sie ist dort verantwortlich für die digitale Transformation der Technischen Kommunikation und seit 2020 Mitglied des Steering Committee im iiRDS-Konsortium. Zusätzlich hat sie seit Anfang 2023 die Aufgabe des Steering Committee Chair von Ulrike Parson übernommen.

Anne Kuhsen studied Technical Communication at the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe and has been working for SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co. KG for 15 years. She is responsible for the digital transformation of technical communications and has been a member of the Steering Committee of the iiRDS consortium since 2020. In addition, she has taken over the role of the Steering Committee Chair from Ulrike Parson since the beginning of 2023.
