Inhalt

At SAP, we are very familiar with the challenges that come with being a global company with a linguistically diverse employee, customer, and partner base.

Several years ago, we started working on our own machine translation, specialized in SAP-related content. It is being used in several different products and processes with different aims in mind: dynamic or instant translation, interim translation, basis for post-editing… Over the years, we have consulted different teams that want to use our technology. In the current AI wave, in many cases we need to start projects with expectation management about what is possible, advisable or feasible. In most cases, we can apply some best practices that we have developed over time, such as quality testing, feedback process, and correction workflows. In this session, we want to share some of what we've learned.

The audience will gain insights of different use cases at SAP supported by AI and MT, lessons learned from previous projects, and recommendations/best practices that we apply in our projects.
