Early in the 2020 COVID-19 crisis, Technically Write IT (TWi) partnered with Tech Writers Without Borders to match volunteer technical writers with non-profit organisations. TWi designed a chatbot that was used to gather and manage volunteer data.

The volunteer response was overwhelming, and the chatbot became a necessary tool for managing the response efficiently.
