Franziska Zibold will provide an overview of the Digital Product Passport’s regulatory framework, recent developments, and scope of application at EU level. She will highlight key challenges in implementing the DPP and discuss its future development and role in supporting the EU’s digital and sustainable product policy.

Biografie

Franziska Zibold ist im Team Digitaler Produktpass der Generaldirektion Binnenmarkt, Industrie, Unternehmertum und KMU (DG GROW) der Europäischen Kommission. 

Dort arbeitet sie an Themen rund um den Digitalen Produktpass und begleitet dessen Einführung auf EU-Ebene. In ihrem Vortrag wird Frau Zibold das rechtliche und normative Rahmenwerk, den Anwendungsbereich und Herausforderungen bei der Einführung des DPPs vorstellen.

Franziska Zibold is part of the Digital Product Passport team at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW).

There, she works on issues relating to the Digital Product Passport and is overseeing its introduction at EU level. In her presentation, Franziska Zibold will outline the legal and regulatory framework, the scope of application and the challenges involved in introducing the DPP.
