Pasi Savola has a linquistic background. He studied German and English translation in the University of Vaasa and worked as a language trainer for 10 years. He has 22 years of experience in different technical communication tasks, working first as a technical writer, then a team leader and finally a documentation manager for a Finnish Drives manufacturer Vacon. Danfoss acquired Vacon in 2015 and Pasi was appointed as Technical Communication Director at Danfoss Drives. In 2020, he joined Konecranes as a Documentation Manager. Pasi is leading a global team of 15 documentation experts in Konecranes’ Port Cranes business unit. He has given several presentations in the field of technical communication in various events with a special interest in serving the users of tech information better in the future with relevant, easy and up-to-date product guidance.
