Bernd studied industrial engineering and business management in Wedel/Germany and Skövde/Sweden. The medical devices industry is what intrigued him and that's where he started his carreer - in technical communication. After several roles in the business for imaging X-ray systems, Bernd moved into the Hospital Patient Monitoring business. In the current role, he manages a team of linguists that is responsible for the translation of software for life-saving medical devices as well as ensuring correctness of translation.
