As a member of the advisory board of the LINGUIST-List and member of its supervisory board, the eLinguistics Foundation, Jeff Allen has been a frequent author and speaker at language industry conferences over the past 3 decades.   He has worked in the field from the perspective of a provider of technology products and language services, as a tool integrator on the client side, and also in crowdsourcing mode with volunteers who participate in local and global corporate social responsibility projects. His experience covers a wide range of roles within many well-known institutes and companies which develop and/or implement various technologies and services.
